Why Holiday?

We are all so busy; busy at work, busy with the kids (If you have them), busy with social lives, sport, family, shopping and it goes on and on and on!!! A lot of the time, most of the monies gone through paying bills, school fees, the dreaded mortgage or rent, groceries, presents for other people, car expenses and again, it goes on and on. There’s not a lot left for much else!

We all need a break from the daily grind. We need to be able to get away and forget about all of life’s dramas and enjoy ourselves. That means spending quality family or together time. Whether it’s on the beach, in the country or at some theme park, we need to just relax unwind and have fun.

The great thing about taking a holiday is that when it’s all over, you get great memories and it should motivate you to do it again! And that’s the key, get motivated and make holidaying a part of your life. Even if you go away every three years it doesn’t matter. There is always heaps to plan and money to save for the next trip and it’ll give you, your partner, the whole family or your friends something to look forward to.

The real challenge is to put a little away every week. It’ll mean some discipline but it’s well worth it. Set up a savings account and have an amount automatically transferred to this account. Fifty dollars a week is $2600 per year. In three years you’ll have around $8000. That plenty for a fantastic holiday!

If you are not as stretched with money but have time constraints, then setting time aside is the goal. Again, even if it’s 2 years down the track, then so be it. It gives you plenty of time to plan your trip.

We all deserve some quality ‘us’ time. Here at ‘Travel to the US’, we have a lot of great ways to save you time and money and let you in on tips and tricks to make your holiday as best as it can be; so please feel free to read up on all the different ways you can plan, save and have a great holiday!

So why the US? Well for me it’s a personal choice. We’ve been on a holiday to the US on 7 occasions and we’ve loved every trip. It’s affordable as long as the trip is planned and we save up enough to go. There is so much to do there! We have traveled to many Australian cities and going overseas was the natural progression. There are many other countries i’d like to visit but going to the US for me is the place of travel choice for now. There is so much more we still want to do and i’m sure it won’t be long before we head back to the US for another great holiday!
